Work Life Imbalance

In January I started a new job. The job is amazing and I love it. There is something that comes with change and that is the adjusting to a new routine. This is something that I have not yet managed to get completely right but, I think that it is headed in the right direction.

It is true that I have had to cut back somewhat on my writing and narration, planning be damned sometimes. It has just been an exceedingly busy few weeks and I have needed to get my head round the new environment in a COVID-19 lockdown world. I.e., no one there I can just ask how to do something or who is the right person to ask in the case of such and such.

I supposed that is it really. I know, not much to talk about but there will be (this week):

• A new writing tips article
• A new writing tips video (based on the article)
• A new narration
• A new idea for a short story chain that I am playing around with
